The television season is reaching its climax, most shows have had their season finales and will be a good few months before we hear from them again. But I only want to talk about one finale, and that is the Chuck two-part finale. I was quite concerned that with the ending of Chuck for a few months I would spiral into some sort of TV induced depression, but with the finale being that awesome it hasn't affected me in the slightest; maybe the adrenaline is keeping me sane. I've constantly thought throughout the season that season 3 hasn't been as good as season 2 and while I am still of that opinion, the last two episodes went a huge way in closing the gap. I think it has even, in my opinion, overtook the great heights of season 1.
I definately enjoyed the finale. I didn't find it to be too contrived, in fact I found it to be quite moving. Am I disappointed we didn't find out more? Yes. Its hard not to feel a little cheated. There are so many loose ends! I was hoping they would do more flash backs to previous episodes and go some way to explaining them.
...and substitute my own! It seems to me that title sequences are a little out of vogue at the moment what with shows like Lost, The Mentalist and V going with the minimum they can get away with. However, there are still some great ones to be found. Here are my top picks.
I feel that the show intro is much like the old age addage "don't judge a book by its cover" but who am I kidding? If an intro rocks it puts me in a much better mood to enjoy the show. I've chosen to show you a few of, in my opinion, the best intros which I can remember. A few of these are pretty damn nostalgic and take me back to my childhood, especially Bucky O'Hare. Anyway enjoy!
Well what did everybody think of the Junior Apprentice last night? After not watching the Apprentice for a couple of series (it’s entertaining but got a bit ‘samey’) I thought I’d tune in to see what this would be like. Admittedly I wondered whether this would be a bad idea for my self-esteem when I was reading the CVs of the contestants online beforehand, most of them have achieved more than I ever will (one kid has been running his own company since he was 12).
